Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a multiethnic background. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and father Elroy have both been Malaysian. There are two brothers younger than her and a older sister. In the 1980s, her parents emigrated to Bahrain because of civil war on Sri Lanka. This is why she was both born and raised in Bahrain. Her schooling was completed at Bahrain and she won a Scholarship for at the University of Sydney. There she earned a Media and Communications degree. A lover of cultures and different languages, she joined Berlitz Language School in which she learned Spanish as well as enhancing her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed in Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she took home the title in 2006. Following her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone entered the television world and hosted a program about Sri Lankan businesses called Lanka Business Report. Padukone has a daughter with tennis star Prakash Padukone. She was brought up in Bangalore and was born in Copenhagen. As a teenager Padukone was a participant in numerous championships for national badminton. But she gave up the sport when she decided to pursue a career as a professional model. Padukone was born in Mangalore in India. The language she speaks is Konkani is her origin. Padukone Village is situated within Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi District in Karnataka in India. Prakash Padukone has retired as a world-renowned athlete in badminton and her mother also works as a travel advisor.
